Centralized systems are currently one of the most common solutions in the current building stock.
For more than 25 years, Dae Energia has stood out on the international market for the production of user satellites for direct metering, or the specific and timely distribution of thermal consumption, which represent a cutting-edge solution for heat management in buildings with multiple housing units, such as condominiums or residential complexes.
A user satellite is a thermo-hydraulic control unit that, in the presence of centralized heating systems, allows for autonomous management of thermal energy within a single real estate unit.
In addition to ensuring total autonomy in heat management, the user satellite is also an essential device for correctly accounting for the thermal energy actually used by individual users served by a centralized system.
Unlike traditional systems, where heating costs are divided based on often inefficient criteria (such as the surface area of the apartment), direct accounting allows for the precise measurement of the actual consumption of thermal energy for each housing unit, also encouraging a more conscious use of energy.
Advantages of direct accounting
The user satellites for centralized systems with direct metering proposed by DAE Energia can be divided into two families:
The starting point of every centralized system is the heat generator, the device that produces the thermal energy needed to heat water or air. The choice of generator depends on several factors, including the availability of fuels, the size of the building and the comfort needs of the users. Among the most common options are gas, condensing or biomass boilers, heat pumps and district heating systems.

Once produced, thermal energy is transported through a network of pipes, which branches out throughout the building, reaching each individual housing unit. This network, like a capillary system, is of the hydraulic type.
Once in the individual housing units, hot water is supplied through special terminals, which have the task of transferring heat to the environment. The most common terminals are radiators, elements that radiate heat into the surrounding environment, but other devices can also be used, such as radiant floor panels.
We don’t see the problems, but the solutions.
For over 20 years we have been specialists in heat accounting for centralized systems. This long experience, gained in the field and following the evolution of technologies, makes us the ideal partner for multi-residential. We have an in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the systems, the common problems and the most effective solutions. We offer customized, reliable and cutting-edge solutions for transparent and optimized management of heating consumption.
