How do Condensing Boilers Work?

Guide to Purchase Incentives and Deductions

Starting from 2025, Italy, in line with European directives, has introduced important changes in the panorama of tax incentives for the energy requalification of buildings. The bonus for the replacement of gas boilers has been eliminated.

Why this change?

Energy transition: The aim is to promote the use of renewable energy sources and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
Improving energy efficiency: The aim is to encourage the installation of more efficient and sustainable heating systems.

What alternatives are there? Even though the bonus for gas boilers has been eliminated, there are still opportunities to obtain incentives. Ecobonus: It continues to be provided for energy requalification interventions, but with a greater focus on more sustainable technologies such as:

Heat pumps: They exploit the thermal energy present in the external environment to heat internal environments.
Hybrid systems: They combine a traditional energy source (gas) with a renewable source (heat pump).
Solar thermal systems: They produce domestic hot water using solar energy.
Conto Termico: It offers direct contributions for energy efficiency interventions, with a particular focus on low-emission technologies.

Regional and local incentives: Some regions and municipalities offer additional incentives for the energy requalification of buildings.
