Radiant systems are a heating system and, in some cases, also a cooling system, that are particularly efficient and comfortable. Unlike traditional radiator systems, where heat is transmitted mainly by convection, in radiant systems the heat is spread by radiation, directly heating the objects in the room.
This is the most common solution, as the heat spreads from the bottom upwards in a natural way, ensuring a uniform temperature throughout the room. It is ideal for both heating and cooling.
This is a less common solution, but it can be advantageous in some contexts, for example in environments with very high ceilings. Ceiling cooling is particularly effective, as the cool air tends to descend downwards.
It is a solution that can be used in combination with other types of radiant systems, or as an alternative in environments where it is not possible to install floor or ceiling panels. It can be used for both heating and cooling, but requires careful planning to avoid condensation problems.
